The Japanese Ministry of agriculture launched the “Dream project”, which intends the use of robot to cultivate an agricultural field of 600 acres in the Miyagi prefecture in the north-east of the country, seriously damaged by last year’s tsunami.
The robots will cultivate rice, wheat, fruit and vegetable and will managed the boxing.
According to the Ministry of agriculture the researches will begin this year and an investment of four billion of yen (about 40 billion of euro) is foreseen for the next six years.
