“The daily work to control and repress illegal phenomena in the fishery sector, carried out by the staff of the Harbour Authorities – Coast Guard shows its fruits. According to the results of the activities carried out in the first two months of 2012, we register a strong reduction of both administrative and criminal violations and of seized sea product, this even though the controls carried out were the same, in numbers, of last year. This means that the awareness campaigns carried out by the Corps on the protection of the consumer and sector operators have given concrete results.
